The illustrated disc flight line is based on the manufacturer
field testing results, during its development process. So,
to level the playing field we chose to put a different spin on
things for such visual illustrations. Sticking to the manufacturer's test results will offer you a good baseline for how that
particular disc will fly.
The Innova Star Mystere is a high speed distance driver that's useful for long low glide shots. It's popular because it has high glide at a lower speed than some other discs like the Shryke and Tern. When the Mystere was released in 2015 there was little fanfare. It's enjoyed a quiet few years but players are beginning to understand its use.
The flight path of the Mystere is largely dependent on release angle. When the disc is thrown flat it will turn slightly at the beginning of the flight, then it will hold straight glide and fade back at the end. The Mystere doesn't have as much turn and fade as other discs that are 11 speeds. What makes this special is it will hold a tight line when thrown low and with power. If you throw this disc on an anhyzer and overpower it will pan out and give you great distance. When thrown on a hyzer the Mystere can be thrown high to ride the glide around corners for incredible distance.
