SDG Courses & Pro Shop Testimonials

My absolute favorite place. They care about this place and you can see it! Gorgeous, well maintained, their pro shop is so big and people working there know what they’re doing! Very helpful, kind and caring. Fun place with random doubles, stamp system for free rounds and free disc golf for women on Wednesdays. Love it! It’s one of the few courses with minimum amount of bugs lol

I just wanted to say THANK YOU for maintaining your course so well. After getting a really bad case of poison ivy last year, I'm really paranoid of anything with 3 leaves. I take this app around and identify every single thing. Well, I haven;t found any yet ar sabattus (and I throw in the woods plenty, ha)! Another course has it growing ON the trunk of basket 1 (and EVERYWHERE). Thanks for your course being a good place to relax and play!!

One of the nicest disc golf places I have played at. Sabattus disc golf has it all! They have courses for beginners and kids and they have courses for professionals. I have been playing for about 10 years very casually but I have been to most of the disc golf spots in Maine and this is my go to. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The pro shop is hands down the nicest around and the course upkeep is unmatched. I would recommend this course to anybody with any skill level. It's very family friendly and it's an amazing place to go with your friends. It's amazing to play but its just as nice to tag along with friends and go for a beautiful walk through the woods and fields that are always perfectly cleaned up.

Rivals any PGA ball golf course for design and fun. Bring your game/discs and they will entertain you.

Used to come 4 times a week for a few summers when I lived in Maine about 10 years ago. Always enjoyed it here; well-groomed course, staff is good, owner even waves when he’s out. Came back a few days recently and it’s still as great as I remember. Love the pro shop and the selection. This is truly the best place in the state for disc golf.

I don't have anything like this near my home in PA and I'm super jealous. First, let's start with what's important. Four disc golf courses on one property. I played the Hawk today and it was great. If this were my home course I'd be a happy guy. First amenities -- Nice tees, benches on every hole, plenty of signage, toilets and it is literally the cleanest course I ever saw. As far as the golf itself, there are a lot of shots that need just the right touch. Everything on this course expects at least one touch shot to make your par. There's a pretty creek that flows along most of the front 9. They have a number of really pretty greens. Some real short holes and some bombs. Just about has it all. I played the more competitive par and it was a challenge. There was even more elevation than the other course I have played in this area so far. The pro shop is the icing on top of the cake. It's amazing. I was like a kid in a candy store. If you're local know that this isn't normal. This is an amazing luxury to have.

Fantastic course! First time I have seen the overlapped courses so well executed. My teenage son played Eagle while my brother and his kids, both under 8 years old, played Falcon. For most of the day, we teed off together, but we would play to different baskets. Fun and creative way to let players of different skill levels enjoy a day together.

Sabattus Disc Golf is one of the places that our granddaughter HAS to visit every day that she is here during her summer visits from Tennessee. She (we) absolutely love the place! As one other reviewer said, it Is immaculate; the owner works tirelessly to make constant improvements and additions; the courses are fun, family friendly, some are more challenging than others, always meticulously groomed and the perfect exercise for young and old. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The pro shop is inviting, well stocked with everything you need for a wonderful outing on the courses, neat as a pin and features some fun gifts for your favorite disc golf players. We love the setting, playing through babbling brooks, beautiful trees, well marked pathways and lush meadowland. While we are still novices in the sport, we are able to appreciate that disc golf is great fun for every level of skill. There is absolutely no reason not to try your hand at this super fun game - especially at this exceptional location. I doubt there is any better place to play than Sabattus Disc Golf.....and don't forget to pat the goats; they're friendly and do a super job mowing the lawn!

What a day! First time at @sabattusdiscgolf and I was completely blown away. No surprise these are some of the highest-rated courses in the world. Hawk is the longest most beautiful “easy” course I’ve played and Falcon was equally gorgeous and more challenging. Totally in love with this place. Going to see about having my bones laid to rest somewhere on the property. Possibly as early as this weekend.

I'm not from Maine, so I was blown away by the quality and beauty of this course. We played the Hawk course, but I'll be back to play the others. Great service and the best selection of disks I've ever seen!

There isn't really any more SDG could be doing to offer high quality and quantity fun to the disc golf community near and far. A course for every level of player (4 courses and counting), a disc inventory that rivals the big online retailers (they sell online, too), and events year round. The course is always in as good of shape as the weather conditions allow, and every player is in a good mood no matter how they are playing. Staff are also great! The best disc golf center I have ever been to, and just have the pleasure of living nearby.
