Disclaimer:
The illustrated disc flight line is based on the manufacturer
field testing results, during its development process. So,
to level the playing field we chose to put a different spin on
things for such visual illustrations. Sticking to the manufacturer's test results will offer you a good baseline for how that
particular disc will fly.
The Innova Halo Star 2023 Gregg Barsby Charger is a stable high glide distance driver that's designed for maximum distance. It's a bomber disc that's got some high speed turn and lots of forward glide before a reliable fade. The Halo refers to the colored outer ring which gives these discs a cool name. The Tour Series stamp is subdued. It features circuitry around the word Charger.
The flight path of the Charger is straight out of the hand with high speed turn coming early in the flight. Then lots of forward carry and finally a slow long fade. You can rip this disc forehand or backhand and it will handle the torque well. The big comparison everyone seems to make is that it's somewhere between a Destroyer and a Shryke. But one is very flippy and the other is overstable. The Charger has a little less flip than the Shryke and more forward carry. It doesn't have that overstable finish for folks who throw 350+ consistently.
Halo Star plastic from Innova is a premium blend. It's durable and slightly more overstable than the other blends like Star and Champion. It's the choice of many players on the Disc Golf Pro Tour as well as your local course because it's reliable.
Get the Halo Charger and help support World Champion Gregg Barsby as he tours the world crushing discs. It's a great choice for you to be your max distance driver as well. Get these while they last!
