Disclaimer:
The illustrated disc flight line is based on the manufacturer
field testing results, during its development process. So,
to level the playing field we chose to put a different spin on
things for such visual illustrations. Sticking to the manufacturer's test results will offer you a good baseline for how that
particular disc will fly.
The Innova DX Colt is a straight flying stable putter with high glide and a small rim. It's an excellent choice for players with smaller hands and for those who like a flatter top putter.
The flight path of the Colt is straight when you're inside the circle. When thrown for distance or upshots the Colt has a tendency to fly straight with a very little bit of turn early in the flight. It's a very point and shoot disc that handles tunnels well. The Colt is accurate and precise from 5 to 200 feet. After that you're going to turn it over and have something that glides but not on a straight line. It handles the spin or push putt well. The shallow rim mean that this disc can be held by younger players with ease. It's not a great putter in the wind, because it does get pushed around. But it's excellent most of the time.
DX Plastic from Innova is their baseline plastic. It's an excellent choice for your putter because you want some of those nicks and scrapes in the disc to give you a little extra grip. DX comes in a variety of weight and color options so you can get exactly what you're looking for.
The Innova DX Colt is a straight flying putter. It offers that long high glide flight that rides the wind if you want it for tee shots. It's best with the fan grip and you can do a little shot shape magic with it. Try out the Colt and see why so many players hold this flat putt and approach disc in high regard.
