Throwing an Innova Star Shryke requires less power than you think. Even though it's a high speed disc it has significant turn early in the flight. The -2 turn is plenty to guarantee an S-curve for the flight. It's suitable for players of all skill levels from amateur to pro. The Shryke has a glide rating of 6, it's the highest number it can be! This will carry a long way once it gets into the air so get some air under the Shryke and watch it glide. Keep in mind that if it stays airborne longer it will have a longer fade as well. When thrown low the true fade may be closer to a 1 than a 2. The Shryke wants to patrol the skies so let it rip. The weight on these discs are 170g and up because if they're too light they will quickly flip in any head or crosswind. Those few extra grams will help increase the control a player feels when they're throwing these.
This disc is nearly the same as a Star Shryke, but players note that this run and stamp is slightly stiffer and more stable than typical Star Shrykes. When looking at the price of the disc it is more expensive than star plastic, but that's because of the unique stamp.
