The Discraft Big Z Zeus Disc Golf Distance Driver is an excellent high speed choice for players looking for a long straight flight with a hyzer finish. The Zeus was designed when Paul McBeth made the move to Discraft in 2019 and the Zeus has been his signature driver for a couple of years.
The flight path of the Zeus is straight with a little flip about halfway through the flight. It will turn lightly and then begin a long slow fade. The Zeus is often compared to a beat in Innova Destroyer. The Zeus can be thrown forehand or backhand and should be used when you're already pushing 350 feet consistently. It has lots of glide and carries forward. It's a great choice on tunnel shots if you end up in the open at the end, the Zeus holds straight most of the flight but will tail at the end. Since its inception in 2019 many of Team Discraft pros have made this their primary driver.
Big Z plastic offers all the durability of Z line but it's softer, more grippy, and more understable for extra glide. Disc golfers will love how Big Z doesn't stiffen up to overstable in cold weather, and how much extra flex is in the disc. It has that little bit extra shiny look to it and it's going to fly like a slightly seasoned z line disc.
If you're looking at a high speed driver that's about straight flight, good distance and control mix, and has a more shallow and not wide rim. The Zeus is something you should take a look at for your bag.
