Disclaimer:
The illustrated disc flight line is based on the manufacturer
field testing results, during its development process. So,
to level the playing field we chose to put a different spin on
things for such visual illustrations. Sticking to the manufacturer's test results will offer you a good baseline for how that
particular disc will fly.
The Innova DX Cobra is an understable midrange that offers beginner players a high glide mid with turn, and advanced players a utility disc for hyzer flips and rollers. Since the Cobra came out in 1988 it has seen lots of play from players of all skill levels. It is primarily a backhand disc as it doesn't have the torque resistance for forehands, but you'll be able to do a lot of shot shaping with this disc.
The Innova DX Cobra is a straight to understable disc with early turn in the flight. The Cobra has a medium to large bead on it. You can expect the flight path to be turn with a flip to flat at the end of the flight. This mid is exceptional for woods play around 100-200 feet. Throw in on hyzer flips to get around trees. Throw it flat to ride a slow anhyzer finish. Throw it as a roller. It's going to be an exceptional disc in tight spaces.
DX plastic from Innova is a baseline blend. At Sabattus we don't carry the Innova star cobra, it's rare to find those or the Innova King Cobra Disc. You can always get a Cobra though and DX means you can get them in any weight and with lots of great color combos. DX is cheaper and offers lots more grip when you get nicks and dings in the plastic.
The DX Cobra is an awesome midrange disc that you can find all sorts of players using. Snag one of these for your understable midrange needs and get more birdies today!
